Indian CargoPackers & Movers

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you ask for a quote, book a move or use this website, why we need it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Indian Cargo Packers and Movers ("we", "us") is a moving company with its head office at Plot No. 356, Bharthal, near Syndicate Bank, Sector 26, Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi 110077. We decide how and why your personal data is used for the services described here. You can reach us at Indiancargocpm11@gmail.com or +91 90019 99098.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to quote for, carry out and bill a move:

  • Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address.
  • Move details: pickup and delivery addresses, home size, floors, moving date, the inventory of goods, and any photos or videos you send us.
  • Billing details: the name, address and GSTIN to print on the invoice, and records of payments.
  • Insurance details, if you take transit insurance: the declared value of your goods and any claim documents.
  • Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone, email or social media.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

3. How the quote form works

When you submit the quote form, the details you enter (name, mobile number, moving areas, home size, and the date and email if you give them) are sent to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which emails them to our inbox. The form does not store them on this website. If you also choose to send them on WhatsApp, that message is handled under WhatsApp's own terms while in transit. Once we receive your request, this policy applies.

4. How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To plan and carry out your move, including sharing the crew and vehicle details with you and with your building's security where needed.
  • To issue invoices and receipts and keep accounts, as required by tax law.
  • To arrange transit insurance and help with claims, if you choose insurance.
  • To contact you about your booking, such as date changes or delivery updates.
  • To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights in a dispute.

5. Consent and legal basis

We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you contact us or book a move, and where the law allows it without consent, for example to keep tax records. This policy is written with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 9), but we may still need to keep some records the law requires.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to provide the service:

  • Our branch and crew handling your move.
  • Web3Forms, which delivers quote form submissions to us by email.
  • Transport partners and car carriers, for moves to other cities or vehicle transport.
  • The insurance company, if you take transit insurance.
  • Banks and payment providers, to process payments.
  • Government authorities, courts or police, when the law requires it.

7. Cookies and third-party services on this website

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies at the time of writing. If we add them, we will update this policy first. Some pages include services run by other companies, which have their own privacy policies:

  • Google Maps: area and contact pages show an embedded map. When it loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address.
  • Web3Forms: delivers quote form submissions to our email inbox.
  • WhatsApp: links on the site, and the optional follow-up after the quote form, open WhatsApp, run by Meta.
  • Social media: links to our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Pinterest pages take you to those sites.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages that did not lead to a booking only as long as they are useful for following up. For completed moves, we keep booking, invoice and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and insurance and claim records until any claim is closed. After that, we delete the data or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete data we no longer need, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • Stop using your data where you withdraw consent.
  • Deal with your request through a person you nominate, if you are unable to.

Write to Indiancargocpm11@gmail.com with your name, mobile number and booking details so we can find your records. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it accepts complaints.

10. Security

We limit access to your data to the people who need it for your move, and this website is served over HTTPS. No system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, bank PINs or card numbers to us by message or email.

11. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy and how to contact us

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
